Simo Rodich

President, CCP

I am Simo Rodich, the owner and president of River City Controls Inc. based in El Dorado Hills, California, with an extensive 35 year background in controls and commissioning. My journey in the controls industry commenced with Johnson Controls back in 1989, where I assumed various roles including installation, management, programming, and the commissioning of control systems.

In the year 2000, I embarked on a new venture by founding River City Controls. Our primary mission is to provide robust support to clients utilizing Johnson Controls systems, coupled with our specialized expertise in building commissioning and testing in accordance with Title 24 and LEED standards.

I invite you to explore our website, and please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss your upcoming project.

Scott Sidener

Commissioning Engineer

Scott Sidener assumes the role of our in-house controls and commissioning engineer. His journey in control systems commenced during his tenure as an Interior Communications Electrician in the Navy, spanning from 1979 to 1985. Following this, he dedicated over a decade of his career to Trane Air Conditioning in Sacramento, where he honed his skills in control systems.

Notably, from 2000 to 2003, Scott held the position of Controls Manager at Trane Guam, where he left an indelible mark on customers throughout the Pacific Rim with his profound understanding of control systems.

Luan Nham

Commissioning Engineer

Luan Nham joins our team as the newest controls and commissioning engineer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from CSU Sacramento State in 2005 and embarked on a five-year tenure with Johnson Controls Inc, where he held roles as a technician and system designer. During this period, he contributed to a range of large-scale and intricate building projects, gaining comprehensive experience in commissioning diverse systems.

Following this enriching phase, Luan transitioned to a role as a stationary engineer at Kaiser Permanente Hospitals. In this capacity, he distinguished himself as a pivotal figure responsible for overseeing and optimizing the building automation system, managing utility resources efficiently, and serving as the compliance officer for The Joint Commission standards. His multifaceted background, encompassing construction, building automation systems, energy management, and compliance with regulatory standards, positions Luan as a valuable addition to River City Controls, enhancing our overall expertise.
